To ensure that you would queue up and complete the registration smoothly, please read the following points-to-note carefully:

Preparation before the Start Day of Online Registration

A.  Only “Type A Account: Families/Small Groups/Individuals” is applicable to apply Learning Kit. Please make sure that the information and grade of children are inputted at “My Account” (Max. 3 children).

•  If you don’t have a “Type A Account: Families/Small Groups/Individuals”, please sign up now.

•  If you have already signed up a Type A Account during Aug – Nov 2022, you can use the same account.

•  Your Type A Account which was signed up during 2021 to July 2022 has been destroyed. Please sign up a new “Type A Account: Families/Small Groups/Individuals” now. (Regard of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap 486) under the Law of Hong Kong, all accounts and information will be destroyed after the completion of our previous activities. Please sign up for a new account.)

•  If you forgot the password, please reset now! (How to reset: “Sign in” > “Forget Password”)

•  “Type B Account: School/Organization” is not applicable to apply Learning Kit. Please sign up a Type A Account if school teachers / organizations would like to apply for the Learning Kits.

B.  Prepare a desktop computer, or a laptop/notebook computer

On the Start Day of Online Registration

1.  Visit event website: https://innocarnival.hk/. If there is a high level of website traffic on the start day of online registration, you will be redirected to the "Virtual Waiting Room" to queue up for entering the website.

2.  Please use a desktop computer, or a laptop/notebook computer with stable internet connection and reliable browsers. In order to keep you stay in the queue in the virtual waiting room, please refer to the recommendation of platform system and browser listed in Part A of the above “Preparation before the Start Day of Online Registration”

*** You are NOT recommended to use mobile phones to browse the event website and queue so as to prevent you from leaving the queue unintentionally (see below point 4)***

3.  When you visit the event website and enter the virtual waiting room with a desktop computer or laptop, please stay at the queuing page and pay close attention to the progress of the queuing. Please DO NOT leave the queuing page (see detailed description below) otherwise you will lose your queuing position without any prior notice and you will be re-directed to queue again at the end of the queue. Therefore, you are recommended to suspend using other functions of your computer* while queuing so as to prevent losing your current queuing position.

For desktop computer or laptop users, in order to prevent you from leaving the queuing position and need to re-queue at the end, please note that while queuing, you:

3.1  SHOULD NOT refresh the queuing page, close the queuing page or the browser, open new webpage in the same browser, or open / use other browser(s)

3.2  SHOULD NOT use other functions of your computer, such as documents processing, gaming etc.

3.3  SHOULD DISABLE the screen saver mode or sleep mode. (You are recommended to do so before online registration day)

3.4  SHOULD TURN OFF “Block all cookie” function of your browser (You are recommended to do so before online registration day)

     *You are recommended to prepare additional device(s) if you have to use other functions of your computer or browse the reference photos of Learning Kits while queuing.

4.  If you choose to use mobile phone to queue (which is NOT recommended), please pay special attention to the following points-to-note, otherwise you will lose your current queuing position without any prior notice and you will be re-directed to queue again at the end of the queue:

For mobile phone users, in order to prevent you from leaving the queuing position and need to re-queue at the end, please note that while queuing, you:

4.4 SHOULD AVOID dialing or answering phone calls

5.  You will be directed to the event website soon when you reach the head of the queue, therefore, please check your queuing status timely.

6.  If you enter the website (no matter you are from virtual waiting room or not) but idle it 15 minutes or above, you will be redirected to virtual waiting room and queue again at the end of the queue.

7.  All quotas are applied in first-come-first-serve basis by online registration at event website innocarnival.hk. Other ways to reserve quotas, such as phones, emails are not accepted.
