Activities of InnoCarnival 2024

Ans: InnoCarnival will be held at the Hong Kong Science Park from October 26 to November 3 this year. Onsite exhibition booths, physical workshops and online seminars will be held. All these activities is free of charge.

 

(a) Onsite exhibition booths: About 70 programme partners will showcase their innovations and research achievements through exhibitions, including universities, R&D centres, government departments etc. No pre-registration and admission ticket are required. The public are welcome to visit the venue directly on their own;

(b) Physical workshops: Physical workshops and physical parent-child workshops will be held on site, and enrolment is required in advance. The enrolment methods are divided into (I) online enrolment and (II) on-site registration;

(c) Online seminars: Online seminars will also be held this year. Enrolment methods include (I) online enrolment and (II) watching the live broadcast on YouTube on the day of the event.

Ans: The opening hours are not the same every day as it will be extended for one hour on weekends. Details are as follow:

Ans: No pre-registration and admission ticket are required for the on-site exhibitions. You are welcome to visit the venue during the event opening hours. However, if you would like to participate in physical workshops or physical parent-child workshops, pre-registration is required.

 

Remark: If schools are interested in onsite visits, you are encouraged to sign up and activate a "Type B: Schools/Groups/Charities" account on the website in advance, as well as to submit the "Group Visit Registration Form" online for simple registration for our record.

Ans: There are no guided tours this year. You are welcome to visit the physical exhibitions on your own pace during event time.

Ans: No certificate of participation will be issued.

Ans:

  • The following areas are not pet-friendly, pets are not allowed to enter:

a) Grand hall of Phase 3 (Green Zone)

b) 2nd Floor, Building 10W, Phase 2 (Physical Workshop Registration and Check-in Counter)

  • The rest of the exhibition areas belong to HKSTP’s Pet-friendly Programme. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, pets are allowed to enter other public areas including the outdoor areas (G/F and 1/F of The Spine, 1/F of building 17W, G/F, 1/F and 2/F of building 19W). Please note that medium and large dogs should be muzzled (for details, please visit: https://www.hkstp.org/en/park-life/pet-friendly-environment)

26  27 Oct and 2  3 Nov (Saturdays and Sundays):

  • Souvenirs can be redeemed during InnoCarnival 2024 at the Hong Kong Science Park. The redemption is available on 26, 27 Oct, 2 and 3 Nov (Saturdays and Sundays) while each person can only redeem once per day. Souvenirs are limited in quantity and available on a first come, first served basis while stocks last. 
  • Redemption method: Will be announced later


From 28 Oct to 1 Nov (Monday to Friday):

  • Redemption of souvenirs is not available during 28 Oct to 1 Nov (Monday to Friday). Please visit and redeem on 26-27 Oct and 2-3 Nov (Saturdays and Sundays).
