Activity Enrolment/Registration

Ans: All physical workshops and physical parent-child workshops require online enrolment/on-site registration. You may sign up and activate an account through the event website innocarnival.hk for online enrolment.


In addition to online enrolment, there will be reserved quotas for on-site registration on the day of physical parent-child workshops held on weekends. Quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.


For online seminars, you are welcome to submit online enrolment. If you are unable to enroll them online, you may watch the live broadcast for free through the InnoCarnival YouTube channel on the day of the event (a link directed to InnoCarnival YouTube channel will be provided on the website homepage).

Ans: For visiting physical exhibition booths, no registration or admission ticket is required. You are welcome to visit the venue during the event opening hours.


If schools and organizations are interested in onsite visits, you may sign up and activate a "Type B: Schools / Groups / Charities" account on the event website innocarnival.hk in advance, as well as to submit the "Registration Form for Group Visit/School Bus Rental Subsidy" for simple registration.

  • This registration form will be launched together with activity enrolment starting in late September.
  • School Bus Rental Subsidy is only applicable for primary schools, secondary schools and special schools.


Ans: All physical workshops and physical parent-child workshops are designed for different targeted grade/age groups. Please enroll in the activities according to the participant’s grade/age.


The physical exhibition booths and online seminars are open to the public, so there is no age restriction.

Ans: You may enroll in physical workshops or physical parent-child workshops through the registered account on the event website innocarnival.hk from late September. Please pay attention to the announcement on the event website.

  • There will be reserved quotas for physical parent-child workshops held on weekends for on-site registration on the day of the activity. On-site quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • On-site applicants can only register for a maximum of 3 participants and 2 workshops on the same day for each participant in each queue (no matter if it is a physical workshop or a physical parent-child workshop, it is considered as ONE physical activity).
  • All participants must enroll in any activities based on their grade/age group. Time interval between enrolled activities must not be overlapped (including all physical activities and online seminars).
  • Details will be announced in due course. Please pay attention to the announcement on the “Latest News” of the event website.

From late September

You may sign in your registered account on innocarnival.hk for enrolment when the online enrolment period starts. Online quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts.

  • Each participant could online enroll in a maximum of one physical activity on the same day (no matter if it is a physical workshop or a physical parent-child workshop, it is considered as ONE physical activity).
  • The cut-off time of online enrolment will be three days before that activity is held.
  • All participants must enroll in any activities based on their grade/age group. Time interval between enrolled activities must not be overlapped (including all physical activities and online seminars).
  • If you are unable to enroll in physical activities during the online enrolment period or would like to enroll in more than one physical activity per day, you may go to the Workshop Registration Counter at 2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, HKSP on the activity day (only for physical parent-child workshops held on weekends).

Ans: Online seminars will be conducted through designated software. You may join online seminars anywhere.

  • The cut-off time of online enrolment will be three days before that activity is held.
  • Time interval between enrolled activities must not be overlapped (including all physical activities and online seminars).
  • If you are unable to enroll in online seminars during the online enrolment period, you may watch the live broadcast for free through the InnoCarnival YouTube channel on the day of the event.


A: “Participants” refer to individuals who meet the grade/age requirements of the activity and have successfully enrolled. Accompanying persons, group leaders, or others who do not fall within the target audience grade/age requirements will not be considered as participants. All materials required during the activity will be distributed exclusively to participants.


Each participant could enroll in a maximum of one physical activity on the same day (no matter if it is a physical workshop or a physical parent-child workshop, it is considered as ONE physical activity). Meanwhile, the same participant could enroll in more than one online seminar on the same day. Workshops participants must enroll in any activities based on their grade/age group. Time interval between enrolled activities must not be overlapped (including all physical activities and online seminars).

Ans: Not all workshops have finished products. You may refer to the timetable of workshops on the event website for more details.

Ans: Parents may register for the physical parent-child workshops and accompany their children in the activities. Each child who meets the grade/age requirements of a physical parent-child workshop and has successfully enrolled in it will be considered as a participant and must be accompanied by at least one, and no more than two adults throughout the workshop.


Notes: Physical workshop is for individual participation only. There will be no seating for accompanying persons.

Ans: NO. Schools/organisations are only eligible for participating in non-parent-child physical workshops and online seminars.

Ans: NO. All physical activities/online seminars must be enrolled through the event website (innocarnival.hk). The online quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts. If there are remaining quotas after the cut-off of the online enrolment period, schools/organisations could enroll in the workshops at the Workshop Registration Counter at 2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, HKSP on the activity day (Tentative start time of on-site registration: 9:45a.m. on the day of the event). On-site quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts.

Notes: Schools/organisations can only enroll in non-parent-child physical workshops and online seminars.

Ans: If there is a high level of website traffic at the same time, you will be redirected to the “Virtual Waiting Room” to queue up for entering the website. For more details, please pay attention to the important notes of online enrolment that will be announced in due course.

Ans: Emails with login guidelines and information will be automatically sent to the registered email address of the registered account three days prior to the online seminars. Please forward the email to the students/participants who will participate in the online seminar.

Ans: If you have successfully online enrolled in physical workshops/physical parent-child workshops/online seminars, revision/change of enrolment record for any workshops/online seminar is not available. However, you may sign in your registered account and select “Manage My Booking” to cancel the original enrolment record and then re-enroll in the activity of your choice.


Notes: All physical workshops/physical parent-child workshops/online seminars have limited quotas and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts. Cancellation for enrolled activities is not available three days before the start of the activities/after the cut-off of online enrolment.

Ans: For physical parent-child workshops held on weekends, there will be reserved quotas for on-site registration on the day of the activity. On-site quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts.

Ans: Only physical parent-child workshops held on weekends will have reserved quotas for on-site registration on the day of the activity. Applicants may go to Workshop Registration Counter at 2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, HKSP on the activity day (Tentative start time of on-site registration: 9:45a.m. on the day of the event).


Online seminars do not offer on-site registration. Ans: On-site applicants are required to go to the designated location-Workshop Registration Counter at 2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, HKSP on the activity day for on-site registration. Each person can only register for a maximum (per queue) of 3 participants and 2 workshops per participant for that day (no matter if it is a physical workshop or a physical parent-child workshop, it is considered as ONE physical activity). All participants are required to enroll in any activities based on their grade/age group. Time interval between enrolled activities must not be overlapped (including all physical activities and online seminars).


A Confirmation SMS will be sent to the successful applicant. Please arrive and report to staff at the designated location-Workshop Check-in Counter according to the designated check-in time as stated in the Confirmation SMS. If the participant fails to arrive and report to staff at the designated check-in time, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited and the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify his/her from participating in the workshop. Announcement will be made by staff that those spots will be given to candidates on the waiting list in order of their registration time.

Ans: NO. On-site registration is only available for workshops held on that day. If you wish to join a workshop scheduled on another date, please enroll it online at innocarnival.hk at least three days prior to the workshop by signing up an account (Please note that online quotas are often fully booked). Alternatively, you may try registering on-site on the day of the workshop. Quotas are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts.

Ans: Once the first list quota for a workshop is full, waitlist quota will be available for on-site registration. The registration process is the same as standard on-site registration. Please note that only physical parent-child workshops held on weekends offer a limited number of waitlist quotas, which will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while quota lasts.


Tentative start time of on-site registration : 9:45a.m. on the day of the event

Ans: Waitlisted candidates will receive a “Confirmation SMS” after registering for a waitlist quota. Please arrive at the designated location-Waitlist Waiting Area at the designated time stated in the “Confirmation SMS”. If any online enrolled participants or first list participants fail to arrive and report to staff at the designated check-in time, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited and the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify his/her from participating in the workshop. The spot will be given to candidates on the waiting list according to their registration time. Please be patient while awaiting the results.


If a candidate on the waiting list is successfully admitted, they must present the “Confirmation SMS” for identity verification. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. If a candidate on the waiting list does not arrive on time or report to staff at the Waitlist Waiting Area, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited. The next candidate on the waiting list who has checked in on time will have priority to fill in the spot.


Notes: If ALL online enrolled participants and first list participants arrive and check-in on time, staff will announce that no additional spots are available for waitlist admission.

Ans: There is no video replay for the physical activities. The playback for online seminars and some of the online workshops (tentatively to be held in 2026, details to be announced) will be available on both event website and InnoCarnival YouTube Channel. Please pay attention to the “Latest News” on the event website for more details.

Ans: Both will be launched in Q1-Q2 of 2026. Please pay attention to the announcement on the event website (innocarnival.hk) or subscribe our latest e-news when signing up the account. We will send out the latest information for InnoTech activities via email from time to time.
