Check-in and Participate in Activities (For Online enrolled participants / On-site registered participants)
Ans: If you are participant who have successfully enrolled online, please read the “Activity reminder email” carefully (the activity reminder email will be sent 3 days before the workshop starts. Since the email may end up in the Junk/Promotion Mail, please check all categories of mailbox. If you are still not getting the email, please contact us at 3750 7050).
If you are participant who registered on-site (whether it is a first list quota or a waitlist quota), please carefully read the “Confirmation SMS” which sent to the mobile no. you provided during on-site registration. If you do not receive the SMS, please approach staff for assistance.
Notes for Online enrolled participants/On-site registered participants:
- Online enrolled participants/First list participants are required to arrive at the “Workshop Check-in Counter” which located at 2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, Hong Kong Science Park, and report to the staff according to the designated check-in time as stated in the “Online Enrolment Confirmation Email”/“Confirmation SMS”, as well as to collect the “Participant Sticker” from the staff. Participants should put the sticker on their clothes and must not lose it.
- If an Online enrolled participant/First list participant fails to arrive at the “Workshop Check-in Counter” at the designated check-in time and report to the staff, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited and the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify his/her from participating in the workshop and the spot will be given to a candidate on the waiting list.
- Candidates on waiting list are required to arrive at the “Waitlist Waiting Area” which located at 2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, Hong Kong Science Park, and report to the staff according to the designated check-in time as stated in the “Confirmation SMS”. If any online enrolled participants or first list participants fail to arrive and report to staff at the designated check-in time, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited. An announcement will be made that those spots will be given to candidates on the waiting list in the order of their registration time. Please be patient while awaiting the results.
- If a candidate on the waiting list does not arrive on time or report to staff at the Waitlist Waiting Area, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited. The next candidate on the waiting list who has checked in on time will have priority to fill in the spot.
- All workshops are divided into different target groups depending on the target grade/age of participants. Hence the grade/age of participants should fall into the targeted grade/age range of selected workshops while time interval between enrolled activities must not be overlapped (including physical activities and online seminars).
- Participants of the physical parent-child workshop (applicable to “Type A: Families / Small Groups / Individuals” accounts that successfully enrolled online and families registered on-site) must be accompanied by at least one, and no more than two adults.
- Failure to present the “Online Enrolment Confirmation Email”/” Confirmation SMS” to staff will be result in disqualification from participating in the workshop.
Ans: Parents or teachers can check-in at the “Workshop Check-in Counter” and collect the “Participant Sticker” on behalf of that participant during designated check-in time. Participant must arrive on time to attend the workshop to ensure that he/she can complete the session content within the workshop time. If no representative checks in during the designated check-in time, his/her spot shall be assumed forfeited and the spot will be filled by the candidates on the waiting list.
Ans: Candidates on the waiting list must arrive at the “Waitlist Waiting Area” according to the designated check-in time as stated in the “Confirmation SMS” and wait patiently for the results.
Ans: Parents can check-in at the “Waitlist Waiting Area” on behalf of that candidate at the designated check-in time and wait patiently for the results. If the candidate on the waiting list is successfully admitted, he/she must arrive on time to attend the workshop to ensure he/she can complete the session content within the workshop time. If no representative checks in during the designated check-in time, his/her spot shall be assumed forfeited and the next candidate on the waiting list who has checked in on time will have priority to fill in the spot.
Ans: For participants who have successfully enrolled in physical parent-child workshops, they must be accompanied by at least one, and no more than two adults. On the other hand, physical workshops are for individual participation only. There will be no seating for accompanying persons. Parents may wait at the “Dismissal Area for Workshops” (2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, Hong Kong Science Park) 10 minutes before workshop ends.
Ans: E-certificate of participation will be issued to participants who attended the physical workshops and physical parent-child workshops during InnoCarnival 2025.

Ans: YES, participants may leave early if necessary. However, please note that each workshop has a fixed duration, and leaving early may result in missing part of the session content. There will be no video replay available after the workshop concludes, so we kindly ask participants to have well planning accordingly.
Ans: Online seminars will be conducted with designated Cloud Meeting Software. Please refer to the “Reminder and Instruction for Online Seminar” email for instruction to login.

Ans: No certificate of participation will be issued for participants of online seminars.
Ans: If there is a pop-up window prompting users to input username and email address, you can input the information and then enter the online meeting.
Ans: Please check your computer settings to turn up the system volume.
Ans: To avoid disrupting the online seminar, the meeting has been preset to mute mode and cannot be unmuted manually.
Ans: You can submit your questions via the chatroom during the meeting, while the questions will be asked by the host before the end of the seminar.
Ans: NO. Each online seminar has a unique meeting ID and password. Participants must enter the specific login details for the online seminar they registered for in order to join.
Ans: YES. If you are unable to enroll in the online seminar during the online enrolment period, you may still watch the live broadcast for free on the InnoCarnival YouTube channel on the day of the event. A link to the channel will be available on the homepage of the event website.
Additionally, if you miss the live seminar, selected sessions will be available for online replay. These recordings will be uploaded to the event website in due course. Please stay tuned for updates.
Success
