Primary, Secondary and Special Schools Onsite-visit

Ans: All activities held on "InnoCarnival 2024" are free of charge. If schools only visit the on-site exhibition booths, admission ticket is not required. Yet, schools are kindly requested to sign up and activate a "Type B: Schools / Groups / Charities” account and submit the "Group Visit Registration Form" on this event website, so that the organiser can notice the number of school visitors in advance.

If the schools are interested in enrolling physical workshops, you may now sign up and activate a "Type B: Schools / Groups / Charities” account. You may sign in the account to enroll the workshops you are interested in, as well as to submit the "Group Visit Registration Form", so that the organiser can notice the number of school visitors in advance. Please click here for the details of activity enrolment.

Ans: Rental bus subsidy is applicable for Primary, Secondary and Special Schools. However, schools must rent the bus themselves and pay in advance. In addition to renting a bus, schools can also take free shuttle buses to and from the venue. For details of the pick-up / drop-off point and frequency of the free shuttle bus to and from the venue, please click on the link below:

For all approved applications, the final student attendance list has to be provided to the InnoCarnival onsite main reception upon your arrival. The original copy of official receipt of coach rental should be submitted together with the “Receipt Submission Form” to the address listed on the form on or before 29 November 2024. Upon validation of the application and official receipts, the reimbursement will be transferred to the school’s bank account directly. School could opt for receiving the reimbursement by bank cheque which would be mailed to the school’s postal address. (*If the cheque is lost during the postal delivery, the HKFYG would not arrange.)

If the application status is shown as “Waitlisted”, it is because a large number of applications are received, causing the total amount of bus subsidies that can be approved to reach the upper limit, hence the school's application has moved to the waiting list. After the conclusion of InnoCarnival on 3 November, if the applications of other schools are canceled due to insufficient number of actual visiting students, the organiser will arrange applicants to fill in according to the order of the waiting list. The schools that have successfully waited will receive an email notification in December the earliest (the order of the waiting list will be based on the time of application submission). Please pay attention in due course.
